Don’t miss the hauntingly fun annual Halloween Parade in Truckee, CA. This beloved event is free and fun for the whole family. It is held the Friday before Halloween, October 25th, 2024, and includes Trick-or-Treating with the businesses downtown, the parade, and another Trick-or-Treating through the Community Art Center. The event is organized by the Truckee Donner Recreation and Park District and the Truckee Downtown Merchants Association and is approved by the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District.

The parade starts at 6:00 pm sharp. Meet in front of the fire station on Donner Pass Rd.
If you are a business and would like to participate in handing out candy, please contact the event coordinator at: (530) 550-4454.
Parade Route
The parade leaves the Truckee Train Station at 6 p.m. and weaves through Historic Downtown Truckee. The route provides an opportunity for locals and visitors alike to experience the charming essence of Truckee while immersed in the Halloween spirit. The revelers then parade to the Community Arts Center, where the Halloween fun continues.
